And with its large touchpad and optional capacitive multitouch screen, this rugged device is finger-touch-operable in gloves and extreme temperatures.
S510 raises the sustainability bar for rugged laptops. It's MIL-STD-810H and IP53 certified against water, dust, strong vibrations, 3-foot drops, extreme temperatures, and more, all with a chassis comprised of 45%+ post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, which reduces energy consumption, carbon emissions, and e-waste in its supply chain while putting its design sustainability among the best rugged laptops on the market.
S510 is built configurable and versatile, so it can meet most users' needs as possible. Wireless connectivity includes WiFi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3, optional dual-SIM 4G LTE/5G Sub 6 and dedicated GPS. Up to two Thunderbolt™ 4 Type-C ports are also available for fixed data transfer and peripheral charging. The multimedia bay can be configured with an optional barcode reader, DVD super multi drive, second solid-state drive (SSD), or dedicated NVIDIA GPU. And for enhanced productivity at your desk, connect our optional DS100 USB-C docking station.
S510 offers the multifactor security measures expected of an enterprise or business-rugged laptop, enhanced with hardware-based protection of your sensitive data. Authentication measures include Windows Hello facial recognition, Intel® vPro® hardware-based security, an optional smart card, an optional fingerprint reader, and an optional RFID reader. And for extra protection of company data during device storage or repair, S510's self-encrypting solid-state drive (SSD) is user-removable.
